Result-driven leader with over 20 years’ of experience in the areas of Project Management, Strategy Planning & Public Relations at Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences. During the tenure at SGPGIMS he got the opportunity to work outside PGI for FIVE YEARS from 2004 to 2008. Got a chance in completely diversified area of operations and established the first BPO at Lucknow and formed an INDO-CANADIAN organization where he was heading the entire operations as CEO of the company. A keen strategist, planner and implementer with expertise in devising strategies aimed at enhancing overall organisational growth, sustained profitability of operations and improved business performance. Motivated by internal standards of performance to deliver quality results. He is an inspiring leader and communicator with strong interpersonal, analytical and relationship management skills. Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to relate to people at any level of business.

Major Turning Point In the Career

  • He always endeavoured to become a top-notch professional & reach the pinnacle of his career, thereby, creating plenty of Job Opportunities for the young work force.
  • As he was in the Government job so it was not easy to quit the job like that. In 2003 Government of UP came out with a very INNOVATIVE Govt. Order. Which was “Provision of Employment Leave for Govt. Officers”, wherein one could take FIVE YEARS leave on half salary and join the private sector either own business or job.
  • Woking as a Government Official at SGPGIMS within confined & specified area he couldn’t get enough opportunity to showcase his professional ingenuity and availing the “Provision of Employment Leave for Govt. Officers”, he availed five years leave in January’2004 to prove his mettle in corporate world.

He had only one thing in him, which was TARGET DRIVEN APPROCH with POSITIVE ATTITUDE & DEDICATION towards his job.

Career History

  • Since Jan’09 with Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow. (SGPGIMS-An autonomous body of the State Government) as Public Relations Officer. (Joined Back after FIVE Years)
  • Joined back his services at SGPGIMS as Public Relations Officer on 3rd of Jan’09 in the Department of Hospital Administration.
  • From January’04 to December’08 with Amartech Convergence India Pvt. Ltd. As Chief Executive Officer- 05 Years (An Indo-Canadian Venture).

Major Achievements

  • Spearheading complete Call Centre operation of Lucknow centre, with accountabilities including:
    • Complete call centre operation for Bharti Airtel, Idea Cellular, Uninor in UP East & West  telecom circle includes all post-paid and prepaid processes (Inbound & Outbound).
    • Capacity planning and infrastructure deployment at contact centre.
    • Ensuring that National Quality Benchmarks – as per Mystery call Audits is achieved.
    • Process Mapping and Implementation for Call Centre Operations
    • Implementation of Training and Certification process to maintain service quality as per Bharti Airtel standards.
    • Topped the whole country in the Airtel’s one of the very important & crucial process called “CLOSE LOOPING”.
  • Heading complete operation for 800 CCE’s & Management Team including client servicing and customer interaction. Three Centres & 350 seats all together and 200 more seats are coming up.
  • Involved in Traffic analysis and projections for expansion of operation. Have successfully ensured SLA achievement and better efficiency through implementation of Quality measures.
  • Ensure adherence to the laid down System processes, Service standards and Compliance.
  • Ensure operational costs are optimised through setting of right-sized operational processes and resources allocation.
  • Ensure high motivation level and retention of manpower and to advise and implement interventions to improve Emotional Quotient of employees. It’s a fact & talk of the industry that their Call Center has minimum attrition rate of 2 to 3 % (A News item published In The Hindustan Times, Lucknow Edition).
  • Able to retain Top Management & Top Technical Personnel for more than three years i.e. since the starting of this Call Centre till date.
  • May’89 to Dec’03 with Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow. (SGPGIMS-An autonomous body of the State Government) as Public Relations Officer-15 Years
    • The Institute is one of the three Premium Institution’s known for MEDICAL EXCELLENCE in the country. To be the part of initial set up of such organization is in itself a mater of pride as there were plenty of opportunities learning & associating with very highly skilled personalities from all corners of the world.
    • As SGPGIMS was the premium project for Govt. of India and was to be established in the technical collaboration with Japan Govt. & France Govt. So, He got the opportunity to work & coordinate with very high profile Technocrats in the field of Medicine and Engineering.
    • He was reporting to the Director of the Institute (The Top Authority). During his tenure at SGPGIMS he has worked very closely with several internationally known personalities of the Medical field.
    • He also had the privilege to join the Institute when there were hardly 50 employees and grown up to the current strength of 4000 employees. So, being attached to THE HEAD OF THE INSTITUTION, he had several Administrative responsibilities.
    • Total LIAISON with the Senior Government officials & look after the PROTOCOL activities.
    • Media Planning, Press Conferences, arranging National & International Medical Conferences.
  • 1988 to April’1989 with Hotel Clarks Avadh, Lucknow. Designated as Sales Executive (A Five Star Hotel at Lucknow. It’s a chain of Hotels having its Units at Jaipur, Agra, Deharadun, NOIDA, etc.)
    • Looking after the Sales of the F & B and also enhancing the Room Business.
    • Bringing new Corporate Clients.
    • Taking care of the Public Relations activities of the Hotel.
    • Budgeting & Planning of Food Cost.
    • Several miscellaneous jobs assigned by the General Manager of the Hotel time to time.

Other Honorary Assignments & Few Achievments

  • Member of Association of Knowledge Workers at Lucknow. This is the only forum of Lucknow where all Top & Known personalities of all the areas are there and playing a very important role in bringing Lucknow on the International Map, specially in the field of BPO, Medical, NGO’S, Environment, etc.
  • Attended workshop organized by CII where SIDBI & RBI have participated and discussed several issues related to financing the Institution & few new concepts such as Venture Capitalist, etc.
  • Participated in Various Meetings held by STPI & also by Government of Uttar Pradesh in relation to the development of IT & ITES sector in Lucknow & and in UP.
  • His complete profile was published in The Hindustan Times, Lucknow edition in their column “WE”.
    Very recently Hindustan, Lucknow has featured his profile.
  • Several times his interviews have been published by The Times of India, Hindustan Times, Hindustan & Various News Papers.
  • One of the TV Channels has telecasted his interview in “The Personality of the Week” programme.
  • His interview was published in one of the very prestigious magazine Voice & Data and also in The DQ Week.
